This is a quick video demonstrating the effect of shutter speed (up to 1/250th of a second) on Flash photography (in side (studio or house)

In a darkened studio, shutter speed doesnt come into play with flash pictures. When you take the flash out of the studio, however, adjusting the shutter speed is often necessary to match the flash exposure to the background.
