Studios

I am planning to sell my family house and move to Liverpool.I was wondering if I would be able buy a property, such as a disused shop and convert it to Art studios to rent out. But what would be the ‘law’ on this situation? Would it be commercial or teneted?( I would also need to be living there). Would it be easier to just let some rooms and let them use it as a studio?

You will need to check with the local authority if the unit can be converted to business cum residential property. Different states/countries have different laws governing this.
