How to get to Universal Studios using metro?

I live off el segundo and main and the nearest metro to me is the green line on avalon. How do I get to Universal Studios from there. Thanks.

Take the green line, transfer to the blue line, then transfer to the red line. Get off at Universal City station and from there they have a shuttle directly to Universal Studios.

Here is a map so you can see where to get off and transfer. http://metro.net/riding_metro/maps/images/rail_map.pdf

Since you will need to transfer, a day pass will be cheaper than paying for each ride.

  2. well you could take the48,51,52 or 53
into downtown LA then take the red line to universal
city then crosss lakersheim (Just follow the crowds) to the enterance
and hop the free shuttle up the hill
cost is $1.25 per mode of transit
(yes you could take the green line then the blue line then the red line
but you would have pay $1.25 each time
