How does disney and universal studios work?
So if you get a ticket to disney you’re allowed at all the disney parks like epcot and the animal kingdom..etc? How about Universal Studios? Is that a completely different park? Like I have to buy different tickets for that as well? Looked online but I’m not seeing exactly what I’m looking for. Any extra tips of info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Yes and no.
If you buy a one-day base ticket to Disney, then you are allowed to use that ticket to any of the four main parks. The tickets are not park-specific. However, you could NOT use that ticket to go to Magic Kingdom in the morning and Animal Kingdom in the afternoon, for example. You would have to purchase a separate option added to your ticket called the hopper option. This allows you to "hop" between the parks in ONE day. Base ticket – one park. Hopper ticket – multiple parks in the SAME day. If you bought a 4-day base ticket, you could go to a different park each day, you could go to Magic Kingdom every day, whatever. But you couldn’t go to two parks on the same day unless you purchase the hopper option.
Universal is basically the same thing. They have two separate parks. They are totally separate from Disney, and you must buy your tickets separately. You could buy a 2-day ticket where you went to one park each day, or you could buy a park-to-park ticket where you could go between the two parks in the SAME day.
Yes, an admission ticket to Disney World allows you to go to any of the Disney Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Hollywood Studios). Universal Studios is a separate park run by a separate company, so you’d need a separate ticket.

Been to both.
Depends on what type of ticket you buy.
Magic your way tickets are only good for one park / one day.
Park Hopper tickets are good for all parks, as many times as you want in one day.But you can also buy a multiple day (2 day,3 day for example) park hopper.
Idk about Universal, never been.

When you get a ticket to disney your allowed to go to all the parks inside disney world. but disney and universal are both two diffrent companies, and it’s also a complety diffrent park as well. but inside universal there’s both universal studios and islands of adventures. and those tickets work the same way as it does for disney.and yeah you would have to buy diffrent tickets for that as well. but depending on how many parks your actually going to then you might want a park hopper that lets you ‘hop’ from each park to another. and that goes for the same for universal. i recommend you to just buy a 4-5 day park hopper ticket for disney so you’ll be able to go to all the diffrent parks and to buy a 2 day pass to universal .
