I’m not familiar with magix music maker.
Oh ok, Ijust went to your myspace page. And listened to one of the tracks.
Looks like you are using Fruity Loops to make your beats. Let me give this to you straight. Fruity Loops is like the KIA of Synth Workstation / Beat Making Software. I would recommend investing into a quality piece of software sometime in the future. Check out Reason.

Reason is the real deal. A lot of Professional Studios that do rap music, will use Pro Tools and Reason to produce the song.
On another note, you are not using the advanced features of Fruity Loops. You need to start messing around with the extra features. Such as velocity on your drum beats, so they don’t sound so computer generated. Start messing around with the Panning, add small delays, etc. Basically, if you don’t tweak the settings with Fruity Loops you get a straight line —————————- very generic sounding, and will make it sound like you are using a CD player or tape recorder.
You need to mess with the velocity and panning especially! This will get you away from a straight line.
The other thing too, is your vocals are lacking. The mic you are using is not giving you justice. It doesn’t have the pop on it. This could be for all kinds of reasons. I would need more info on your setup, before I could tell ya how to fix that.
Another thing you can do, is mix / master your tracks. I’m not sure if Magix Music Maker does this. If I were you, I’d look at getting Tracktion for recording. It’s cheaper than big recording softwares like Cubase and Pro Tools, and it’s really easy to use, plus it allows you to add filters to master your track. This is what will give you true studio sound.
