haha if only i had that to spend i wouldn’t blow it all on a mixer any size i would go with a DAW system with 16 real time analog channels and 500 digital… In its time that Mixing board was the now it prolly worth half of its original price (still a 500k board!)

Hey Iggypopster, both good points, but I thinks great recording studio gear is definately mandatory at that level of production imo.

ohh man what a studio!i really wanna record my songs on it .thankyou!

  17. Oh, with ‘a room …
Oh, with ‘a room that size’ I meant the control room. Not the whole studio (imagine how much more it costs to build the whole facility).

  18. If the chair was a …
If the chair was a Herman Miller (which it usually is) it was only about 1200 us ;)

There is no way around it. A pro studio will cost you a crap load of money. Getting someone to design and build a room that size alone will cost you 100/200k.

My studio will owe me 300k once it opens up in august and it is no way near as big as this place is.

  19. cool
    cool

  20. Nice vid man. …
Nice vid man. Thanks for the tour.

  21. I like how some …
I like how some people need to mention how much things are costing in order to kind be validated. I mean, we see the big fat console, the size of the studio, the artists that recorded there and so on… Don’t need to specify that the chair you’re sitting on did cost 325 789 US$ and that the carpet was half a million bucks….

    i like how he …
i like how he settled the nonsense wit the tupac records that keep gettin dropped

  23. not that aint …
not that aint nobody sample again?!

  24. What you both said …
What you both said isn’t true. Doing a hiphop/rap track can tack up much more which is especially true when real instruments are used. An acoustic drumkit can easily take up 12+ channels on it’s on.

Why have some many channels? A recording studio that big has a crapload of inputs. Each mic or direct input has it’s designated channel which means you’ll never have to unplug anything. (patchbays also come in handy) They probably also do other genres.

  25. real nice..
