    Plus… Its all …
Plus… Its all about the producer again, we all use different stuff, some better than others… but when a guy makes music better than you while using something of less quality than the equipment you use, then you have to ask yourself the question… “why?” and the answer is… “a producer is only the master of his own knowledge!”

  16. D13Robinson Says:

I think there is No …
I think there is No point in arguing about HOME production because nothing will ever be as good as a Professional Industry Installation (for example a million pound/doller studio etc), and regardless of what software people (prefer) or are (more advanced on in terms of education) then it doesnt really matter what people use as long as the software is decent (In general), after all, they all do the same thing really, Sequence audio and MIDI…

    I agree. People say …
I agree. People say that Genelec is the best, however i can’t find a single ounce of research correlating Grammy award winning producers with that brand of monitor. Yamaha and JBL seem to be the most common search result. Logic Pro is good because it comes with the entire package, and you have a bigger choice of which audio interface you want to use. Protools you have to spend more money to get synths etc and are limited to Digidesign interfaces.

Agree 100% – Logic/Pro Tools dosen’t matter – they are both very very good. It’s about how you use your gear not how much/how good stuff you have! – Also you don’t need a mac pro, with a newish imac (2007 or later) and Snow Leopard you are gonna be producing fast! I know a guy who has played with the who and take that and done countless recordings and he uses logic! :)

    Here is my opinion…

1st Place – Logic for home recording – Pro tools for larger scale recording studios.
    2nd Place Cubase
    3rd Place Live and others
    :)

    Hahahaa… I know …
Hahahaa… I know mate, made me laugh when I read it, Its all about the knowledge of the producer I think, not the tools (although I do think nicer equipment makes you sound a little better) but its all about the producer I think… Music does not make its self… What do you guys think? Just my opinion etc? would be good to get some opinions Haha…
