@armyqpzm you can get a behringer audio interface for 40 bucks and then all you need is a torrent of Adobe audition for instance and then a microphone and cable which is like maybe 130 bucks then you plug your stuff into the Behringer thingy which is connected to the computer USB port and then you only spend like 200 bucks

You’ll need an …
You’ll need an audio interface to record on windows 7. Don’t even attempt to record through the line in/mic input because there’s a really bad latency issue that’ll make you sound really out of time.
Hope this helps…You’ll be good to go with an interface, everything else can be built up over time.
