recommendation on setting up home photo studio?

I’m looking to setup my own home photo studio. I already had a good SLR camera with decent range of lenses.

Is anyone have any recommendation for a lighting kit and a background support? i am looking for a decent price one.

Btw, my camera is canon 400D, i have no idea what lighting system will work with my camera.

1. you need a slave trigger for your camera’s flash shoe.
2. It is best to have independent lighting units so as not to have cords everywhere.
3. I recommend that you have a main light, one auxillary light and one backlight for backlighting and lighting the backdrop to cut down on shadows. The units should come with umbrellas and I recommend white so you can shoot through and bounce.
4. go to B&H Photo to shop… they have the best deals I think.

Good Luck…
