@6137805275 – thanks for the helpful response. My problem is that I am using a Casio synth as a controller to play the vsti plugins like Lounge Lizard electric piano.

For example, if I have a song in the key of C….but want to transpose down to D, but still play the C chords….instead of having to learn the song again in the key of D…

Can I transpose it in Fl Studio?

The alternative would be to buy a midi controller, like M aUDIO ‘S axiom.

    Thanks again,

    B.

    Help, I need help.

I am a total noob, with daws and fl studio.

How can I transpose in semitones? I’ve got fl studio 8 and I am using a casio privia, as a midi controller. Unfortunately, the transpose keys does not work for fl studio’s sampler sounds and/or the vsti plugin instruments.

Now…short of having to buy another keyboard midi controller…can I, somehow, transpose withing fl studio, itself?

I’ve scourged the internet to no avail for an answer.

    thanks.
