What is the best recording microphone if you are trying to setup a home studio?
I’ve been writing music for a while, but I’ve never had the chance to record any of it. I was thinking about creating a home studio, but I wanted to make sure I have the best equipment possible. I’m serious about this, so be as honest as possible

What is your budget? A good home studio mic requires Phantom Power. That will bost the price. If you’re reading my other answer to a related question:

… you’re going to see I like AT2020. But if your budget is larger than $100-$300, go for a Neumann mic (the best in the industry)
