    Forgive my naivete, but I’m seeing several different DAW products on the Cakewalk page. I see “Home Studio 6″, “Music Creator 5″, and “Sonar 8″. Can you explain the difference between these DAWS and their functions?

    I do have a question. I am a former user of Cool edit pro. I had a mixing tip that evened out my voice so it didnt go in and out. You know how when you record something how when u look at the voice after you record it it gets bigger and smaller? Well with the mixing tip i used it would keep it all at the same decibel. How can i do this with cakewalk sonar le?

    It’s just like Sonar. I like it better. I haven’t got any of the newer versions though. I bought CMC up to 3.0 and I played around with a Sonar download (free hacked version I think but it worked) but I never went back to Sonar if that tells you antyhing.

    I bought it today actually.. Still haven’t installed it cause my computer is at Geek Squad. Get it back tomorrow though. But yes, the manual is is thorough. Pictures, good walk through, its pretty nice.

    check the individual track outputs. Each individual track has to be assigned your speaker outs. I had same problem.

    hey ReApErZ666 you may have to select the usb as the input device for the program, it might choose a different recording device than your usb by default.

    there’s a free program called audacity, if you just want to record, use it, all you need is a mic and some noise to put in. theres also a tonne of different ways you can edit the track, as well as an unlimited amount of tracks you can create
