  7. I like audacity WAY …
    I like audacity WAY better than pro-tools. Audacity is COMPLETELY free and open source. It’s more flexible, and has all the features you need for home/home studio work.

    Shame you’re …
    Shame you’re running protools…. it just isn’t as much fun to make music with as Logic Pro 9 or Ableton …. I really can vouch for this being proficient in the three for some years…. I’d reconsider and use all of Logic’s internal features rather than external soft synths required for PT … just extra work for your computer and less stable all round.

    Not to say you wont end up with great results with any to be fair…. but it’s about what inspires you and how easy it is to create it.

    its not a studio …
    its not a studio its a pre production basic recording interface. its really only good for acoustic straight recording and decent vocal capture. Thats really only what she wants to use it for anyway.

    Thanx lady for sharing, would love to hear the music you make with your gear. Are you working with logic? Cause this is a mean app to make music with, that’s what I use with Ableton live.
