		<description>I agree Neumanns are great sounding, also try out some Rode mics, they make a great tube mic that goes for about 800 bucks, and many people consider it almost as good as the Neumann U87 (which by the way is well over 3 grand). For pre-amps i&#039;d advise ART pre-amps for that price range HOWEVER it would be worth the money, to spend a little more and but a Universal Audio Pre-amp for about $800 like the UA 710 Single Channel Tube and Solid State Mic Preamp. It&#039;s great because it&#039;s very versitile and gives you many choices.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
