if its not a … if its not a digital mixer, you will need an interface in order for that to work you need to make sure that you have direct outs on the back of your mixer from each channel. an interface on a low budget you will need like a presonus firestudio, and wire several together.
if budget isnt an option i would really reccomend something like a digidesign 003.
hope that helps. if you need a hand with it give me an email. . . . . and i will be posting upa video of my studio soon.
thats man your a … thats man your a lot of help dude no lie…. one more question is …if the interface is for my mic only.. is there really a difference in which one i go with
hey man i’m using … hey man i’m using Logic Pro as well could you explain how you sue the mixer and the program together i have a mixer mine’s a piece of compared to yours and i’m interested in getting something like yours what would you suggest i record live rock music
Speed aside, the … Speed aside, the big difference between FireWire and USB 2.0 is that USB 2.0 is host-based, meaning that devices must connect to a computer in order to communicate. FireWire is peer-to-peer, meaning that two FireWire cameras can talk to each other without going through a computer.
The key difference … The key difference between FireWire and USB is that FireWire is intended for devices working with a lot more data — things like camcorders, DVD players and digital audio equipment. FireWire and USB share a number of characteristics but differ in some important ways.mplementing FireWire costs a little more than USB, which led to the adoption of USB as the standard for connecting most peripherals that do not require a high-speed bus.
All my midi … All my midi equipment are connected to my emagic AMT8 midi interface and then routed directly to my computer. Secondly my MackieD8b is also connected to the same midi interface also. As the protocol is binary data of 1’s and 0’s, it makes it possible to control anything via it’s special clocking algorithm.
I hope this helps.
