I have a casio exilim ex-s10, and when I upload the video file to Sony Movie Studio, There is no sound. Nothing is muted and my volume is up.

I plan to mount it on a hand held controller box and use it to rotate a device with the other end of the cable.
Levers that move cables are usually designed around a pivoting point so that the lever has some mechanical advantage over the cable. But there is machinery, like lawn mower speed controls, that sometimes do move in, well, a narrower range of an arc, so that the movement seems flatter. You could look at small commercial machines for such a cable.

I have seen studio rates as low as 25/hr and up. Listen to examples of the type of music you need to record. Choose the studio based on their past productions. Your preparation and rehearsal saves many hours in a session. An experienced engineer saves many hours with efficient sessions. A $100/hr studio with an experienced staff can produce a better product for less than a $35/hr studio with an amateur staff. Contact other artists in your genre and ask their recommendations.

I’d never get express, you can’t even do chords and recording automation is limited etc…
I don’t use much of the sounds that comes with FL Studio, not sure what comes with the express version either, but you can just use tons of great free samples and plug-ins available online. Just email me if you need some pointers.

“Roundabout” is the track which opens the 1971 album Fragile produced by British progressive rock band Yes. In 1972, an edited version of the song was released as a single with “Long Distance Runaround” on the B side.[1] The single has been listed at #15 on one list of 1972s best songs,[2] and “Roundabout” has become one of the best-known songs by Yes. Live versions of the song are found on the albums Yessongs, Keys to Ascension, House of Yes: Live from House of Blues, and Live at Montreux 2003. “Roundabout” was written by Jon Anderson and Steve Howe.
Anderson has said that the song’s cryptic lyrics simply came to him while driving to the studio one early morning.
Howe’s use of octave harmonics on the acoustic guitar introduction of the song, plucking the four notes that would comprise an Em chord on an open guitar, has become one of his signature pieces of guitar work.
In the film School of Rock, Fragile is given to the keyboardist Lawrence as he is told to listen to the keyboard solo on “Roundabout”. On the commentary track for the DVD release of the film, actor Jack Black states that the solo is his personal favorite keyboard solo.
“Roundabout” was also used in the 1999 film “Outside Providence” as it is heard through a sequence of two scenes.
An acoustic arrangement of “Roundabout” was recorded for The Ultimate Yes: 35th Anniversary Collection.
